Call for Reviewers: Journal of Language Science and Practice

Journal of Language Science and Practice (JLSP) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to advancing research in English language studies, including linguistics, literature, language teaching and learning, translation, and cultural studies. To uphold the academic quality and integrity of the journal, we invite qualified scholars to join our reviewer panel.

Reviewer Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate submitted manuscripts for academic merit, methodological rigor, validity of conclusions, and contribution to the field.

  2. Provide detailed, constructive, and timely feedback in accordance with the journal’s review guidelines.

  3. Maintain confidentiality of the review process and adhere to ethical standards.

  4. Participate in review discussions as needed, engaging with complex or borderline cases.

Qualifications

  • Hold a doctoral degree in linguistics, literature, applied linguistics, English education, or a related field

  • Possess a strong publication record in peer-reviewed academic journals

  • Demonstrate familiarity with current theories, methods, and debates in English language studies

  • Familiarity with peer review standards and practices

  • Ability to deliver objective, high-quality reviews within specified timeframes
